We couldn’t improve upon the headline, which appeared in several major newspapers after the release of In Black and White: the Jake White Story at the end of last month, so we’ll keep it. That’s right, Jake White’s memoir of his tenure as the head coach of the Springboks – which includes the story of his famous victory at the 2007 Rugby World Cup – has outsold the latest Harry Potter!

The first print-run of 60 000 copies of In Black and White – the Jake White Story has sold out across the country but more are on the way in time for Christmas gifts.
Wendy Sloley, a representative for Struik Publishers, said they had not anticipated such a response and it had even outsold the latest Harry Potter.
